We all arrived in Chicago throughout the day. All eight members of the Fukawi Motorcycle Club, two from our Ontario Chapter and six from our British Columbia Chapter. Our mission, which we chose to accept, is to travel from Chicago to Los Angeles (well Palm Springs actually) along the iconic Route 66. I have been chosen to captain this event and have spent the past several months working on "The Plan". I've purchased books, maps and have been programming my GPS to ensure we don't get lost. With less than 24 hours to go I realized that I really have no idea how we're going to do it. No worries though, I have all my Route 66 books
Will be doing some studying tonight
So after we all got settled in, we texted out better halves
And then headed out for a great dinner at Harry Caray's
The night ended with Paul finally showing up, a nightcap and to sleep. Tomorrow, we pick up our bikes and ride!
